Oh this sweet sweet girl. She has such a sweet spirit and is just as adorable as her siblings! We took advantage of gorgeous evening summer light and let her play and explore and get a few cuddles from mama too <3 I love capturing all the moods and expressions. Even the serious ones at this age.
I am always soooo soooo sad when the baby plans end! I love following these little ones throughout the year! She was full of energy and smiles and I absolutely adored our session <3
I have loved this winter, but it is time for the spring and summer itch. Especially, as these days get longer and the sun graces us with her warmth! This was a session I did a few years ago for a project called The Beautiful Child Project that showcases children that are beautiful both inside and out. Joel battled Leukemia and won and his story is truly amazing, so are his parents. You can follow his mom’s blog HERE. She is hilariously funny and full of amazing recipe’s. I know because she feeds me and that is why we are friends 😉 Her boys are pretty awesome too and this session couldn’t have been more perfect! Brothers. Sun. Gummy worms. Backyard forts. Sigh. Summer is on its way folks!

This absolutely gorgeous couple came to visit Alaska and of course we HAD to photograph a stunning engagement session with them. Being from the south the sub zero temps were a bit brutal for them BUT we had an amazing but quick session <3

Every other month, we will be sharing 8 images that tell the story of what inspired us in the previous weeks: our families, nature, weather, or maybe even work itself! We are free to explore the meaning of ‘impressions’, and it is likely to change month to month.
2016 was such a year of incredible growth. I attended several workshops and I pushed my limits. Along the way I met amazing new families and I am so excited to call them clients. I am so blessed to do what I love for a living and meet such incredible families along the way. This year I also cultivated relationships with other photographers who share my same passions from across the globe and I am all the better for it. I am so excited to see what 2017 brings! I was asked to put together some of my favorite images from 2016 and I thought this would be a great post for today although I think my favorite images depend on the day you ask me! I tried to pick a few from several genre’s <3 Enjoy!
