Here’s a little bit about the artist:

Hi! My name is Nina and I am the mother of two very imaginative little girls
that constantly inspire me. I love crafting and currently create a variety
of dress up and creative toys such as  dress up masks, adjustable dinosaur
tails, reversible capes, felt crowns, tutus and children’s travel story
boards and chalkboards. I also embroider onesies, t shirts and knit beanies.

12 Days of Christmas Giveaway: Day 1 (Anchorage Child Photographer)

Last years giveaway was such a success and I am super excited to do this again to celebrate my studio’s anniversary! This year we are expanding the studio in downtown Anchorage and I am thrilled! Thank you for all your support! So starting today I am going to be giving away goodies everyday for 12 days. They are going to be local and fabulous! The theme is inspired by Oprah’s Favorite Things. I always loved watching that episode and thought it would be fun to give away a few of my favorite local items!  Today’s prize a double sided wood sign from Stick with my Vinyl’s.  It’s super cute and I love the holiday and winter theme. 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway- Day 12 Anchorage Child Photographer

We we did it! We made it to day 12 and it just so happens to be on 12/12/12 😉 Thank you everyone for participating and sharing. It’s been super fun! I will be posting all the links to the vendors who donated so you can check them out in one spot 🙂 Today is a donation from the fabulous CRUSH Wine Bistro and Cellar. It is super yummy food and oh the wine selection. I am a huge fan of wine and there is always something new to try at CRUSH. They have a wine club that I am a member of and definitely, definitely worth checking out if you enjoy wine.  They have donated $25 which is perfect for a lunch or even a flight of wine 😉 It’s the perfect place for a girls lunch or date night 🙂

The second part of the donation is from me 😀 It is an 8X8 black Johnny organic bloom frame. It has a mounted print with a quote from my favorite Christmas move, “Elf”.  The print can be taken out and one of your own easily put in. I carry the organic bloom frames exclusively. It’s too late to order them in time for Christmas, but really, who wants to give this away?! It will be super cute on a shelf, or mantle, or anywhere you want to spread holiday cheer 😀

12 Days of Christmas Giveaway- Day 11 Anchorage Child Photographer

THANK YOU everyone for participating! Tomorrow is the last day! We have an awesome prize for today! I am a confessed runner that has fallen off the wagon! I LOVE running. But, like many moms, I have let life get in the way. So my plan for the New Year is to start running again 😀 My favorite store in Anchorage is Skinny Raven. It’s where I get my running clothes, shoes, my SKHOOP skirts, Smart Wool Socks, Dansko’s, Keen’s, Running Gear, etc. My husband is an avid runner and so it’s one store we both look forward to shopping at 😉 We also get the girls Bogs, Chooze, and Keen’s there as well. So it’s really a one stop shop for shoes for our family. They have an awesome shoe card program, buy 6 get 1 free. So it’s worth checking out! They also have great Pub Runs on Tuesday nights as well as sponsor many other runs throughout the year. They are an invaluable resource for the running community. Not a runner but want to be? Don’t be intimidated! They know what they are talking about and will fit you to the perfect pair of shoes for you! They are there to foster the running addiction, no matter if you are a newbie or veteran.  They have a fantastic and knowledgable staff. Best of all, they know us by name. Not many stores do that, and I LOVE it!  Today, with the generous help of Skinny Raven’s donation, one lucky winner will get a new pair of shoes! So if you are new to running, want to start, or need a new pairs to add to your rotation then today is your lucky lucky day!
