12 Days of Christmas Giveaway- Day 1 Anchorage Child Photographer

I’ve been dying to do a giveaway for awhile so I thought this was the perfect way to celebrate my studio’s 1 year anniversary! Yep, it’s been one year since I opened my studio in downtown Anchorage and I couldn’t be happier! So starting today I am going to be giving away goodies everyday for 12 days. With the exception of today they are going to be local and fabulous! The theme is inspired by Oprah’s Favorite Things. I always loved watching that episode and thought it would be fun to give away a few of my favorite local items!  Today’s give away isn’t local, however it is still fabulous! There are two items! A 11X11 Print Printed on heavyweight, bright white archival paper with the saying “Do what makes you happy”. This artist is the fabulous woman that is responsible for the new look of Leslie Meadow Photography. She did an amazing job on my logo and everything else!  She knew exactly what I wanted and my new brand couldn’t be more perfect! I LOVE it all. Also included in today’s giveaway is three yummy and delicious handmade soaps from Swedish Goat milk by MeadowLark Heritage Farm. They come in Honey Oatmeal, Grapefruit Ginger, and Lingonberry Christmas Forest. I can not tell you how much I love these scents! These soaps can be purchased at Flypaper soon!

So here are the rules! Make sure you are a fan of my page, then go leave a comment on Stephanie Corfee’s Facebook and Marigolds Goat milk Soap Facebook page.  Just show a little love and say hi! While you are there feel free to browse! Then come back here and leave a comment on this post that you visited the other pages. You get an extra entry if you share this post on your page! Just come back and leave a second comment that you shared it on your FB page. Tonight at 8:30 PM I will randomly draw the winner from the comments. Good Luck and have fun!

The Prizes:

Tell a little story “Anchorage Child Photographer”

I love designing storyboards for clients.  It’s a fun way to tell a story about a session in a cohesive way.  They look great framed, on an easel, or on a shelf.  Here is an example of two I designed from a recent session.  Many years from now when mom looks back on these images she will remember how much he loved his little owl.  So cute!

Jasmine ‘Eagle River Child and Commercial Photographer’

I love getting mail.  Absolutely love it.  I’m kinda old school like that 😉  I especially love getting packages.  So when this little package came from Corinna Couture arrived I was over the moon excited!  The fabric is organic, super soft, and colors are fun and bold.  The dress is amazing by itself, then you add the pants and it’s just WOW!!  Which is perfect for our Alaskan Fall weather.  So if you have an upcoming session or just want something amazing for your little girl to wear, check out Corinna Couture’s shop for the newly listed Jasmine 🙂

Another dress in her Fall 2011 Collection that I absolutely love is the Violet. It is just perfectly twirlable! Yes, twirlable is now a word 😉

Bright and Shiny -Anchorage Child Photographer

I am a confessed shopaholic. I love my shopping and anything bright and shiny 😀 Sweet Adeline’s is a fabulous store that I absolutely LOVE shopping at, but without the guilt.  The owner, Jessica, is an awesome gal that is doing good things for the Anchorage community. She offers locally made products from the Pine Cone Gnome, SnapDragon Stitches, Ninas beanies and bows, Willow Designs, Krafts with Kare, and many many others! Her products are environmentally friendly and include popular brands like Melissa and Doug, Sprig, and my new favorite Piggy Polish.  My daughter loves the art classes there and gets excited every time we go to the store.  She loves the interactive play area 🙂 I could gush about this store all day long, but you really should go and check it out if you haven’t already.  I promise you will be hooked just like me 🙂 While you are there check out some of my work that is now displayed featuring the fabulous and talented Nina’s Beanies and Bows and Snap Dragon stitches 😀  Happy Shopping!

Goodbye Alaska – Fort Richardson Family Photographer

One of the hardest things about being a military family {outside of deployments of course} is saying moving.  The Pratt Family is moving on and had to say goodbye to Alaska. I wish them the best on their journey and at their new duty station. She wanted a storyboard with images from the session and a custom frame. What a great way to preserve your Alaskan memories! Here are a few images from the session and I just love how the framed storyboard turned out!
