Day 9 {365 Challenge}
A little someone insists on eating her Pad Thai with chopsticks just like her mommy and daddy! It’s only a *little* messy 🙂
Day 8 {365 Challenge}
I attended my first Art Soiree this evening. Â It is a group of local artists that have a “party” once a year to celebrate and share each others talents. Â There was a chinese auction that required each artist to bring a handmade item by the artist. Â It was an awesome opportunity to meet new people and check out some new local artists.
One of the local artists was the owner of Bike Belts. Â He makes belts out of used bicycle tires that have been rode in Alaska. Â He donates $2 of each sale to the Arctic Bicycle Club. Â The belts are really cool and it’s a great way to recycle tires, help out the local cycling community, and of course support a local artist.
Day 7 {365 Challenge}
Ok, so the little munchkin does wear her Matilda Jane year round. Â You can have a dark dull winter or a bright festive one, we opt for bright and festive! The boots she is wearing are called Bogs. Â They are the greatest things ever! They are made for kids and adults, rated to 30 below, and come in several cute designs and colors. Â So far they have been the best winter boots, they keep her feet toasty warm and she can put them on herself. Yaaaay!
