Impressions (Week 1) Eagle River Child Photographer
‘Impressions’ is a creative project by an eclectic group of female photographers from around the globe. We aim to share the inspiration behind what we do through our monthly posts. On the 8th of each month, we will be sharing 8 images that tell the story of what inspired us in the previous weeks: our families, nature, weather, or maybe even work itself! We are free to explore the meaning of ‘impressions’, and it is likely to change month to month.
I am frequently asked what inspires me. In all honesty, I can’t shut my brain off, lol. I find inspiration in everything. Especially my girls and nature. I love the challenge of capturing the world as I see it through their eyes.  So October was a fall farewell, Starbucks is my crutch, and another “Z” quote, “Mom, you know it is cold outside when everything is glittery and sparkly.” So of course we explored natures bling 😉
Enjoy and go check out the fabulous Susanne Ashby’s Impressions!
Hatcher’s Pass Fall {Alaska Child Photographer}
A few years ago I decided to do a shoot with a bed at Hatcher’s Pass, you can see it here. (I can’t believe how much my babies have grown!!!!!) I decided to revisit this idea in the Fall. This set up is no easy feat so many thank to my mom, my lovely assistand 😀  A tour bus stopped and asked what we were doing. What, you don’t see a bed in a mountain pass everyday?! It made me appreciate the lifestyle we Alaskan’s are so fortunate to have and the ability to take a jaunt to Hatcher’s Pass for a photo shoot to take in the absolutely gorgeous scenery in luscious fall <3
Maternity Sneak Peak {Anchorage Maternity Photographer}
This very sweet couple came to the studio prepared for a studio session. We lucked out with gorgeous weather and headed outside! They are an absolutely stunning couple and I CAN NOT wait to see them again very very very soon for the newborn session 🙂 Enjoy your sneak peek and see you soon <3
Z is 4! {Eagle River Child Photographer}
Total cliche’, but really, where does the time go?! I can’t believe my oldest baby is 4. It’s so crazy to me. She brings me so much joy to my life and I just love every opportunity I get to be a kid again 😀 This is one session we have planned for her. Hopefully the flowers and sun cooperate soon!
